Neishaa Gharat, Shortlisted for the Asian Women of Achievement Awards

Neishaa Gharat was shortlisted for the Asian Women of Achievement Award in Arts & Culture, an honour acknowledging her role as the founder and designer of House of Gharats and for her work in promoting art, crafts, and textiles.

“Conceived to celebrate the often unsung Asian heroines of British life,” the Asian Women of Achievement Awards annually commemorate the extraordinary work of remarkable women.  Categories highlighted by the prestigious awards include: Arts & Culture, Business, Community, Entrepreneur, Media, Professions, Public Service, Social & Humanitarian, and Sport – a list as impressive and diverse as the women represented.

What really makes me happy is seeing these women who are hugely talented but are so collaborative, very kind and humble. They all seem so honoured to be involved.” – Pinky Lilani, Founded of the Asian Women of Achievement Awards (as quoted in the Independent)
