The Making : I See Fashion As Human
My designs are about real people, their strengths, their weaknesses, no absolutes but sums and totals. The grace, the form, the passion, the pain, the love… I see seamless parallels between the ballerina and textiles I work with – the tough process of making a dancer’s body like textiles in order to achieve the beauty from inside-out. What connects these two is the labour that comes out of love, and Ican very much relate to that.
